The Golden Eagle is a large and impressive bird found in North America, Europe, Asia, and Northern Africa. It has a wingspan of about 6 to 7 feet, 2 meters. This eagle is a skilled hunter, preying on mammals, birds, and even reptiles.

They build nests called eyries on cliffs or in high trees, where they raise their young. Some Golden Eagles can live for more than 30 years. With their golden neck feathers, they are powerful symbols in various cultures, representing freedom and strength. However, they face threats due to habitat loss and human activities.

The golden eagle certainly deserves its name, although it is not as big as the White Tailed Eagle. Its whole being shows strength and attitude. It’s a badass bird, with its piercing amber eyes. Feathered tarsi and the hooked bill, as well as the golden color of the head. This has given it its name Golden Eagle.
